Cruise-in to benefit Make-A-Wish

RUSSIA — Cruisers for a Cure will host its fifth annual car, truck and bike show, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cruizer’s Bar and Grill, 115 North St., Russia.

The event will benefit Make-A-Wish, who is raising money this year to support the wishes of a 4-year-old boy from Huber Heights, whose wish is to go to Disney World, and a 12-year-old boy from Dayton, whose wish is to meet actor Peter Cullen.

The cruise-in will accept registrations, at $10 per vehicle, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first 50 entries will receive goody bags and dash plaques. Awards will be presented at 4 p.m. There will be 15 medals, five special awards, door prizes, an auction and a 50/50 drawing. As many as 150 vehicles are expected to participate and be on display.

Brad Sparks and Lexi Dawn will perform and a disc jockey will provide music when no performers are on stage.

An air-conditioned building and food for purchase are nearby.
