ANNA– A new Family Dollar has opened in Anna, and it’s seeing a lot of business.

The store opened June 18 and held a grand opening ceremony on June 27.

Construction on the new store started back in November. Store Manager Rob Wagner, of Sidney, said it only took them eight days to go from an empty store to a full store after construction was complete.

Wagner opened the Jackson Center store as manager over two years ago, and worked at the Sidney and Piqua stores before that.

He said the store brought his position, two assistants, and four other employee positions to Anna.

Wagner said the store has been super busy since opening and they have not only seen a lot of locals coming in, but people from Sidney and the surrounding area too.
