Annual church festival planned


COVINGTON — St. Teresa Catholic Church, 6925 W. U.S. 36, will hold its annual festival July 31 and Aug. 1 from 4 to 11 p.m. and Aug. 2 from noon to 4 p.m.

This year’s event will feature bingo all three days. July 31 will start with the fish fry from 4 to 6:30 p.m.; bingo will start at 7. Aug. 1 will include bingo from 5 to 10 p.m.; bingo on Aug. 2 will be from noon to 4 p.m.

Aug. 1 and 2 will feature free horse rides, as well as a clown on Aug. 2. Also on Aug. 2, barbecue chicken dinners are back starting at noon until gone. Tickets for the dinners can be purchased at Arens Publications, 395 S. High St., Covington, or the day of the event. Also Aug. 2, Miami Valley Cruisers will have a car show in the lot in front of the church. There will be a large raffle with a top prize of $500 and many other prizes. Those tickets can also be purchased at Arens or during the festival. There will also be chuck-a-luck, a silent auction, and other games of chance all weekend.
