TUESDAY

-12:58 p.m.: theft. A package delivered to 13421 Miami-Shelby Road was missing.

MONDAY

-9:18 p.m.: theft. Tenants reportedly were taking property from 286 Frazier-Guy Road.

-2:08 p.m.: vandalism. A mailbox at 19377 Fledderjohn Road was vandalized overnight.

-6:35 a.m.: accident with injuries. Russia Fire, Houston Rescue and deputies responded to a crash in which a semi rig rolled over in the first block of Versailles Road.

-4:58 a.m.: property-damage accident. A crash involving a semi rig and car occurred at the 96 mile marker of northbound I-75. No one was injured.

SUNDAY

-11:05 p.m.: property-damage accident. A vehicle went off the road at the 94 mile marker of northbound I-75.

-9:49 p.m.: high water. High water was reported in the 16000 block of Ohio 274.

-7:56 p.m.: high water. High water was reported at County Road 25A and Ohio 274.

-4:32 p.m.: threats. A man reported his ex-wife wife ran him off the road at Ohio 65 and 47 and broke out a windshield.

SATURDAY

-10:31 p.m.: assault. Jeffrey A. Meyer, 2555 Fair Road, Sidney, was charged with assault after an altercation with his girlfriend, Chelsea M. Abney, of Bradford. Because Meyer refused to answer the door when deputies knocked, a warrant for his apprehension was requested of Sidney Municipal Court.

-8:08 p.m.: accident with injuries. A two-vehicle accident occurred at Plastipak Packaging, 18015 State Route 65, Jackson Center. Anna Rescue, Jackson Center Fire and Jackson Center Police responded.

TUESDAY

-9:01 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was called to the 97 mile marker of southbound Interstate 75.

MONDAY

-11:01 a.m.: medical. Perry-Port-Salem Rescue was called to the 400 block of West Main Street, Port Jefferson.

-2:49 a.m.: medical. Houston Rescue was called to the 5000 block of Hardin-Wapakoneta Road.

Accidents

Crystal Lynn Shatto, 24, of 230 Brookburn St., Sidney, was cited for failure to control following an accident Saturday, July 18, at 6:35 p.m.

According to the report, Shatto was traveling westbound in the 2000 block of Cisco Road when she encountered water on the roadway. She went left of center and drove into the east-side ditch. Her vehicle sustained functional damage.

• A truck went out of control while passing another vehicle Friday afternoon and overturned, dumping its load of gravel on the road.

David E. Miller, 52, of Mechanicsburg, driving a dump truck, was northbound on Miami Conservancy Road, near Fair Road, Friday at 1:28 p.m. and passed a slow-moving tractor that also was northbound. The truck went off the west side of the road and in an attempt to get back on the road, the truck overturned. The truck slid to a halt in the center of the road and dumped its load of gravel on the road. Houston Rescue took Miller to Wilson Memorial Hospital. He had possible injuries. He was cited for failure to control.

• No citations have been issued in a one-vehicle accident Saturday at 11:13 a.m.

According to the report, Harry A. Frey, 51, 5296 State Route 29 East, Sidney, was eastbound in the 1000 block of McCloskey School Road when he failed to maintain control while attempting to make a curve. The vehicle went off the roadway and came to rest in a field. His vehicle was disabled in the accident.
• Cliff M. Poeppelman, 33, 28 E. Main St., Osgood, was cited with failure to control after an accident Monday at 6:35 a.m.
Poeppelman, driving a semi rig, was westbound on Versailles Road, east of Darke-Shelby Road, when the vehicle left the roadway slightly on the north side. The truck continued running off the road until the soft shoulder pulled the vehicle in, causing it to tip. The truck re-entered the roadway and fell onto the passenger side, sliding to a halt across the width of the road. Poeppelman had possible injuries. Houston Rescue took him to Wilson Memorial Hospital.
