PIQUA — Edison Community College will have auditions for a production of the one-act play, “Choices,” Sept. 28 and 29 at 7 p.m. in Room 111 on the Piqua campus.

Auditions are open to Edison students and the general public. Director Jason Grigsby is seeking a military veteran of any age to play the main role. That character is the only one to appear onstage. Roles are open for a man and a woman, 20s to 30s, who speak from offstage.

The productions aims to raise awareness of veteran suicide and domestic violence. Professor Carl DeSantis, a combat veteran, will lead discussions following the performances, which are scheduled for Nov. 10, at noon and 7 p.m., in Piqua, and Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m., in Troy.
