CRIDERSVILLE — On Saturday, Oct. 3, The Equestrian Therapy Program will hold its 22nd annual Ride-a-thon in Cridersville.

The Equestrian Therapy Program is a non-profit 501-3 corporation organized for the purpose of providing equine facilitated activities and therapies for the disabled in Lima and the surrounding eleven counties.

The Annual Ride-a-thon is the major fundraiser of the year for the program. Riders will be demonstrating their riding skills and participating in a pledge ride.

They will hold a Chinese Raffle and a benefit auction with all proceeds going to the program. The auction begins at 1:00 p.m. with the Chinese Raffle going on all day. Some items to be auctioned will be: an Ohio State Football signed by Urban Meyer, Ohio State vs. Michigan State tickets, Ohio State vs. Indiana tickets, A Halter worn by Triple Crown Winner American Pharaoh with his brass nameplate, decorative items, a golf basket with many gift certificates to local courses, a Taste of Lima Basket with gift cards to local restaurants, a wine fridge with a case of wine and a gift card for $100 to Vino Bellissi and many other exciting items. They will also be raffling off one iPad and drone which includes a safety lesson.

There will also be a pumpkin festival that day with face painting, hayrides, a free pumpkin for everyone to decorate, games, 3rd Floor Band and much more.

Admission is free all day. The festival starts at 9 a.m. and the benefit auction begins at 1 p.m.
