RUSSIA — Lindsey and Matthew Barhorst, of Russia, have announced the birth of a son, Connor Matthew Barhorst, born Sept. 17, 2015, at 1:09 a.m. in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 19 1/4 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Jill Howe, of Minster, and Maurice Bornhorst, of Fort Loramie. His stepgrandparents are Scott Howe, of Minster, and Shelley Bornhorst, of Fort Loramie. His paternal grandparents are Lori and Tom Barhorst, of Russia.

His great-grandparents are Mary Ann and Dan Keller, of New Bremen, and Shelby Davis, of Port Jefferson.

His mother is the former Lindsey Bornhorst, of Minster.
