SIDNEY — Two roads will be closed for Shelby County Highway Department projects, according to County Engineer Bob Geuy.

County workers will be sealing a concrete bridge on Doorley Road over the CSX Railroad beginning Thursday, Oct. 8. The road will be closed to traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The road closure will take place between state Route 29 and Gearhart Road. The project will take two days to complete.

County workers will be trimming trees on Fair Road Thursday, Oct. 8. The work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The road will be closed between Schenk and Millcreek roads. Fair Road will reopen to traffic Thursday afternoon. School buses and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work zone.
