ANNA — The Anna District Historical Society is once again offering for sale its annual Christmas tree ornaments. For 2015 the ornament features the Wenger one room school located on Amsterdam Road, owned and refurbished by Bill and Bonnie Elsass. This is in commemoration of its 150th anniversary.
The ornament is the sixth in the series and can be purchased at U. S. Bank, the Anna Village Office or from any member of the society for $12 each or two for $20.
Membership to the society is open to anyone with an interest in the history of the Anna, Kettlersville or McCartyville areas. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Anna Village Council chambers.
