JC girls stay unbeaten

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Lady Tigers coasted to an easy win at home Tuesday night in high school girls basketball action, routing Indian Lake 58-26.

The Lady Tigers upped their overall mark to 6-0 win the win and host Russia tonight.

Eleven players scored for Jackson, with Peyton Esser leading the way with 14 points and Pauline Meyer adding 12.

Indian Lake (26) — Hogan 2, Kaffenbarger 2, Worrell 5, Wurster 10, Evilsizor 7.

Jackson Center (58) — Reese 1, P. Meyer 12, Esser 14, Hickey 2, Elchert 3, C. Meyer 4, Fogt 9, Hoehne 3, Winner 4, Clark 2, Ware 4.

Ridgemont 43, Fairlawn 37

RIDGEWAY — The Fairlawn Jets, still without leading scorer Audrey Francis due to an ankle injury, fell on the road Tuesday night to Ridgemont in non-league action, 43-37.

The Lady Jets got 13 points from Whitney Tyler and 12 from Lauren Dudgeon. Dudgeon also had 14 rebounds.
