Lego contest in Troy

TROY — WACO Historical Society has announced its third annual Lego contest.

Local LEGO enthusiasts are encouraged to present scenes from their favorite Dr. Seuss books. This LEGO contest, “Scenes from Seuss,” is “nonsense to wake up the brain cells” for “fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living,” according to Seuss. The winning entries will be decided by judges and on display for public viewing with admission to the WACO Air Museum, Feb. 13-March 13, during regular business hours.

With each paid admission, a museum guest will get to cast five votes for the People’s Choice Award. Additional votes can be purchased for $1 per vote at the museum gift shop or online at

Entry forms and rules and regulations are at the same website.

All ages are welcome to enter. Prizes will be awarded for children 10 and under and for people 11 and older.

Submissions must be delivered to WACO, 1865 S. County Road 25A, Troy, between Jan. 29 and Feb. 1. For information, call 937-335-9226.
