OSGOOD — The recycling drive will be Saturday, Feb. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. Items taken either tied up, placed in paper bags or in cardboard boxes are paper, magazines, catalogues and cardboard.
In case of cancellation the drive will be held the following Saturday. You can hear cancellations on WCSM or their website or call Jude at 419-582-2554.
• The Osgood Legion held their euchre Tournament games on Thursday, Jan. 21, and those who had winning hands were Thelma Ruchty, Elmer Rutschilling, Mitch Winner, Jay Morsey and Doris Keiser.
• Those who donated poinsettias during the Christmas season at St. Nickolas may pick up their poinsettias this week.
• St. Nickolas Parish Dance will be on Saturday, Jan. 30. You can still donate things for the raffle. Please call Sherri Thobe at 419-582-1025. Also take note Osgood Legions has gone with cans and bottles for soft drinks pop and water is $1 and beer is $2.
• The feast of St. Blasé will be Wednesday, Feb. 3. Blessing of the throats will be held that morning 8 a.m. Mass and at St. Nickolas and St. Louis at 8 p.m.
• Mark your calendars for John Wood will give a Lent presentation on Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.
