All four Lehman teams in junior high finals

Lehman is hosting the Northwest Central Conference junior high boys and girls basketball tournament championships on Saturday, and all four Lehman teams have reached the championship games.

In the 8th grade boys tournament, top-seeded Lehman opened with a 53-16 win over Lima Temple, then defeated Lima Perry 42-31.

In the championship game, the Junior Cavs will take on Waynesfield-Goshen.

— In the 7th grade boys tournament, Lehman is the No. 3 seed but has reached the finals. The Junior Cavs beat Riverside 34-23 in the first round, then beat second-seeded Lima Perry 34-25 in the semifinals.

In the championship, they will play fifth-seeded Hardin Northern, who beat top-seeded Ridgemont in the semifinals.

— In the 8th grade girls tournament, Lehman is the No. 1 seed and will meet No. 2 seed Ridgemont in the championship.

Lehman had a bye, then beat Lima Perry 55-17 in the semifinals.

— And in the 7th grade girls tournament, Lehman is again top-seeded and will face either Upper Scioto Valley or Riverside in the championship.

Lehman had a first-round bye, then beat fourth-seeded Hardin Northern 18-11 in the semifinals.

Championship games

All four championship games will be Saturday at Lehman’s Schlater Gymnasium starting at 10 a.m.

The schedule will be as follows:

10 a.m., 7th grade girls — Lehman vs. Upper Scioto-Riverside winner

11:30, 7th grade boys — Lehman vs. Hardin Northern

1 p.m., 8th grade girls — Lehman vs. Ridgemont

2:30, 8th grade boys — Lehman vs. Waynesfield-Goshen
