K of C raffle tickets on sale

SIDNEY — The Super Cash Bonanza Charity Campaign for the Ohio State Council of the Knights of Columbus will be in full swing the week of Feb. 28 and run through May 6.

The ticket sales of this campaign provide financial support for charities around Ohio, as well as locally. The ticket drawing will be Memorial Day weekend in Sandusky. The Knights of Columbus of Sidney, Council 659 participates in the statewide charity campaign, “Plant the Seed to Grow Cash for Charity,” with more than $108,000 in cash prizes to be awarded the weekend of May 28 during the state convention.

The mission is to raise $1 million in ticket sales throughout the state of Ohio. There will be 25 cash prizes in this year’s campaign. The top prize is $49,680, payable $414 per month for 10 years. Second place prize is $18,780, payable at $313 per month for five years. Third place prize is $12,720, payable at $212 per month for five years. Additional prizes include fourth place, $4,000; fifth place, $3,000; sixth through ninth places, $1,500 each; 10th through 13th places, $1,250 each; 14th through 17th places, $1,000 each; 18th through 21st places, $750; and 22nd through 25th places, $500. The tickets are $5 each and are available at the K of C hall, 1300 Fourth Ave., during fish fries every Friday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. through Easter and the second Friday of April and May.
