Changes made to district finals

Because of conflicts due to both the boys and girls basketball teams from Fort Loramie and Jackson Center playing in district and regional tournaments this week, the schedule for the boys games has been changed.

Jackson Center’s boys were scheduled to play in the Division 4 District finals Thursday at UD Arena, but that game has now been moved to Wednesday at 8 p.m., preceded by a D-3 district game.

And the Fort Loramie boys were scheduled to play Thursday at 6 p.m. in a D-4 district final at UD, but that game has been moved back to 8 p.m.

The girls regional games remain the same, with Fort Loramie playing Minster Wednesday at 7 and Jackson Center playing Miami Valley Thursday at 7. Both those games are at Vandalia-Butler High School.

Following is the revised schedule of games:

BOYS DISTRICT FINALS

At U. of Dayton Arena

Wednesday — Division 4, Jackson Center vs. Cincinnati Christian, 8 p.m.

Thursday — Division 4, Fort Loramie vs. Southeastern, 8 p.m.

GIRLS REGIONAL SEMIFINALS

At Vandalia-Butler High School

Wednesday — Division 4, Fort Loramie vs. Minster, 7 p.m.

Thursday — Division 4, Jackson Center vs. Southeastern, 7 p.m.

TICKETS

Fort Loramie

Fort Loramie is selling tickets for both the boys and girls tournament basketball games.

Tickets will be sold in the high school office today through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and in the elementary office on Wednesday.

Tickets for the girls game are $7 in advance and $8 at the door.

Tickets for the boys game are $6 in advance and $7 at the door.

Should the Loramie girls win Wednesday, they would play on Saturday at 7:30, and tickets for that game will be on sale Thursday at the school and at Wagner’s IGA. They will also be on sale Friday evening at a time to be announced.

Fans should buy from the school, which keeps a percentage of the revenue.

Jackson Center

Jackson Center will also be selling tickets for the two tournament games.

The tickets will be on sale all week during school hours, and should the girls win on Thursday, tickets for the regional finals will be sold Friday during school hours and also Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the high school.

Tickets for the girls game are $7 in advance and $8 at the door.

Tickets for the boys game are $6 in advance and $7 at the door.

Fans should buy from the school, which keeps a percentage of the revenue.
