OSGOOD — Osgood American Legion is having a dance on Saturday, March. The dance will be held from 8 to 11 p.m. Bill Wemhoff will be providing the music. Cost is $10 per person.

• Osgood Legion will have a fish fry on Friday, March 4, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Eat in or carryout.

• The Goat Farmers will have a fish fry on Friday, March 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. Eat in or drive-through.

• The Osgood Legion at its February meeting drew names for the youth raffle: Don Bemis, Judy Grieshop, Dave Hemmelgarn, Irma Arling, Bob Heitkamp and Ken Bohman.

• On Thursday, Feb. 25, the Osgood Legion euchre tournament winners were Irene Lochtefeld, Barb Winner, Margaret Albers, Bob Poepplman and Elmer Rutschilling.

• Those who wish to donate an Easter flower to decorate the church should place $12 per flower in an envelope with your family or loved one’s name plus the parish (St. Nicholas or St. Louis) by March 13.

• Casserole pans will be available this week that you may use to make a casserole for residents of St. Vincent Hotel in Dayton. The pans are located at the entrances of St. Nicholas and St. Louis churches and recipes are included. Return the unbaked frozen casserole Wednesday, March 16, between 6 and 7 p.m.

• The recycling drive will be Saturday, March 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. Items taken are paper, slick paper and cardboard. Place items in paper bags, tied up or in cardboard boxes.
