MONDAY

-7:07 p.m.: criminal damaging. William Ludwig, 1004 N. Wagner Ave., reported someone threw a piece of concrete block through a back window at his residence. Loss was $500.

-5:02 p.m.: criminal damaging. A vehicle drove through the yard of Patricia VanSkiver, 717 Dingman St., causing $50 damage.

-4:02 p.m.: theft. Charles Allen, 117 E. Parkwood St., reported the theft of a bicycle, valued at $130, from Green Tree Park.

-3:45 p.m.: warrant. Police arrested Kim R. Heysham, 41, 612 Buckeye Ave., on a warrant.

SUNDAY

-11:27 p.m.: assault. Hollie Kuch, 28, 17373 State Route 47, Apt. E, reported someone assaulted her. According to the incident report she had an apparent minor injury.

-6:55 p.m.: burglary. Heather Rose, 29, 1527 E. Court St., Apt. C., reported a burglary. Stolen items included Ipads, XBox 360 games, Nintendo DS Games, Minecraft toys, and rings.

-3:31 p.m.: found property. Keys belonging to 220 N. Main Ave. were found and logged into property.

-2:45 p.m.: criminal mischief. Joshua Koltak, 37, 2400 Wells Drive, reported unknown subjects spray-painted the sidewalk near the intersection of West Hoewisher Road and Wells Drive.

-2:23 p.m.: burglary and criminal damaging. A shotgun, valued at $200, was stolen from the residence of Derek Roediger, 309 Monroe St. A door frame was damaged, causing at $50 loss.

-2:23 a.m.: operating a vehicle under the influence. Police arrested Kimberly Kirk, 44, 613 Lynn St., for OVI.

-2:03 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Derek Boggs, 36, of Troy, on a bench warrant.

-1:13 a.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Anthony Roberts, 38, 508 Sycamore Ave., for domestic violence. The alleged victim and reporting party, Misty King, 34, 508 Sycamore Ave., had an apparent minor injury, a knot on her head and a black eye, according to incident reports.

SATURDAY

-9:46 p.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Nick Mariano, 38, 1620 Ash Place, for OVI and refusal of breath with prior DUI.

-7:09 p.m.: driving under OVI suspension. Police stopped Eric Terry, 27, 1603 Cedarbrook Place for no headlights and cited him for driving under OVI suspension.

-4:52 p.m.: possessing criminal tools. Police and medics responded to the 200 block of Queen Street for a male who overdosed on heroin.

-4:16 p.m.: drug abuse. Police arrested Robert Gay, 37, of Pemberville, for drug abuse and possession of paraphernalia.

-1:26 p.m.: theft. Debra Demars, 60, 1021 Riverbend Blvd., reported someone stole her cell phone.

-10:03 a.m.: criminal damaging. Ronald Miles, 53, 409 Summit St., reported someone scratched the driver-side door and front quarter panel of his vehicle.

-7:02 a.m.: theft. Personnel at the Clark station, 125 W. Court St., reported a bottle of Gin & Juice, valued at $4, was stolen from the store.

-2:43 a.m.: operating a vehicle under the influence. Police arrested Ryan Lawson, 38, of Tipp City, for OVI.

-12:01 a.m.: driving under OVI suspension. Police arrested Kennedy Lee, 18, of Troy, for driving under an OVI suspension.

FRIDAY

-11:44 p.m.: driving under OVI suspension. Police arrested Whitney Tucker, 25, 2518 Broadway Ave., for driving under an OVI suspension.

-8:53 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police and medics were called to a suspected overdose in the 700 block of Monroe Street.

-5:44 p.m.: theft. Teresa Cotner, 42, 1087 Sherman Road, Russia, reported someone took $50 in cash and a 7-inch Kindle Tablet from her vehicle while it was parked in a church parking lot at 950 Children’s Home Road.

-4:30 p.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Dylan Vanhorn, 22, 402 Sixth Ave., for domestic violence. The reporting party and alleged victim, Jerry Vanhorn, 47, 234 S. Miami Ave., had possible internal injury from being punched in the neck, according to the incident report.

THURSDAY

-2:44 p.m.: found property. A black case with sockets and tools inside was found in an alley near 120 N. Main Ave.

Accidents

Caleb Roberts, 19, 835 E. Parkwood St., was cited for overtaking/passing to left after an accident on Friday at 4:53 p.m.

Roberts was traveling westbound on West Court Street when he attempted to merge into the far left lane to pass another vehicle, but in doing so struck the vehicle he was trying to pass.

The driver of the other vehicle was Brandon Morgan, 44, 842 E. Court St.

• Franklin Lee, 59, 624 Park St., was cited for failure to control after an accident on Friday at 1:29 p.m.

Lee was eastbound in the alley leading off of the 100 block of North Ohio Avenue. A witness stated Lee accelerated fast before striking a power pole.

He was transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital by Sidney Fire/Rescue for possible injuries.

• Justin Keller, 19, 17095 Heiland-Kies Road, Botkins, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Thursday at 5:41 p.m.

Keller was slowing in traffic on state Route 47 when he struck the rear of the vehicle in front of him causing minor damage.

The driver of the other vehicle was Paige Bray, 19, of Piqua.

• Derrick Cornett, 23, 222 E. Bennett St., was cited for right of way turn when turning left after an accident on Thursday at 12:33 p.m.

Cornett was traveling southbound on Vandemark Road when he attempted to turn left into a private drive through the path of a vehicle traveling northbound on Vandemark Road. Causing the other vehicle to strike Cornett’s vehicle in the side.

The driver of the other vehicle was Judy Horowitz, 68, 2436 Collins Drive. A passenger in this vehicle was taken to Wilson Memorial by Sidney Fire/Rescue for nonincapacitating injuries.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-2:18 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

-4:13 a.m.: fire alarm. Firefighters were called to 2000 Schlater Drive by an alarm. It was a false alarm.

MONDAY

-12:47 to 10:20 p.m.: Medics responded to eight calls.

-2:40 a.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to the 1300 block of Children’s Home Road to clear a false fire alarm.

SUNDAY

-1:30 to 11:27 p.m.: Medics responded to six calls.

-3:31 p.m.: power lines arcing. Crews responded to the 200 block of North Main Avenue for power lines arcing on the roof. No problem was found inside the structure.

-1:53 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to the 2000 block of Michigan Street for a fire alarm. It was a false alarm.
