PLAIN CITY — The second annual Women Veterans 5K will be held April 9, 2016, at Glacier Ridge Metro Parks in Plain City, Ohio.

The run is in honor of the service and sacrifice of women veterans from all branches of service. There are more than 70,000 women veterans in Ohio.

The pre-race activities start at 8:30 a.m. The race will begin at 9:30 a.m.

The cost is $30 if you register by April 1; $35 after April 1; and $15 for women veterans.

The Women Veterans 5k is hosted by the Fallen 15.
