WEDNESDAY

-5:18 p.m.: theft. Personnel at Dollar General, 166 W. Court St., reported the theft of $25 worth of merchandise.

-1:20 p.m.: theft. Cody Plaisted, 207 W. Jefferson St., reported his 1989 Ford truck, valued at $500, was stolen from 331 N. West Ave.

-11:57 a.m.: property found. A bicycle was found abandoned in the area of Hilltop Avenue and Hancock Street.

-11:48 a.m.: summons. Police served a summons to Derrick M. Cornett, 23, 222 E. Bennett St., on a charge of right of way while turning left.

TUESDAY

-10:27 a.m.: theft and breaking and entering. Cawanna Robinson, 329 Maple St., reported her 2002 Volkswagen, valued at $1,500 was stolen from her residence. Also stolen were a generator and air tool kit, valued at $225. The car was recovered.

-6:12 a.m.: theft. Naomi Jones, 1226 Constitution Ave., reported someone entered her locked vehicle at her residence and stole $550.

Accidents

Carol S. Wackler, 61, of Troy, was cited with failure to control after an accident Wednesday at 7:23 a.m.

Wackler was westbound Michigan Street at the Interstate 75 overpass when she lost control. The pickup truck she was driving spun and hit the curb. It went over the curb and hit the bridge embankment.

• Diane B. Patrizio, of Piqua, was cited with failure to control after an accident Tuesday at 8:21 a.m.

Patrizio, driving a pickup truck, was eastbound in the 2000 block of Campbell Road when the vehicle left the roadway and hit a security fence at 2021 Campbell Road.

• An accident occurred Wednesday at 3:02 p.m.

The driver of a pickup truck parked the vehicle in front of 312 Monroe St. and got out with the engine still running. The truck rolled backward with its driver’s side door open and hit the parked auto of Dawn Everett, 308 Monroe St. The owner of the truck was Franklin Johnson, 312 Monroe St. He was cited for leaving a vehicle unattended.
