Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — Sidney City Council will meet for a workshop session on Monday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. There will be an Arbor Day proclamation. The council will hear a forestry update and a consumer confidence report. They will also hear a presentation on lead service lines. The council will hold discussion on electric aggregation for municipal facilities and stormwater appeals board membership. They will also review prospective city council agenda items.

Civil Service Commission

SIDNEY — The Civil Service Commission will meet Wednesday, April 6, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Sidney City Council Chamber at the Municipal Building, 201 W. Poplar St., Sidney. The commission will be meeting to interview firefighter applicants and certify the eligibility list for the position of firefighter.

Fairlawn Local School Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Fairlawn Local School Board of Education will have a special meeting on April 6, at 4:15 p.m. in the conference room of the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, Annex Building, 4th floor, at 129 E. Court St., Sidney. The board will hold an executive session to consider the appointment, employment, or compensation of an employee.
