Police log

WEDNESDAY

-10:15 p.m.: breaking and entering. Jason Johnson, 30, 107 S. Wilkinson Ave., reported speakers and an amplifier were taken from his unoccupied residence sometime during the day.

-7:32 p.m.: breaking and entering. Wilson Memorial Health reported damage done to the building.

-11:03 a.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Dylan Coverstone, 22, 200 Kelch Road, Russia, on a warrant out of Sidney Municipal Court. The warrant was for a probation violation.

-12:25 a.m.: drug abuse. A man in the 1000 block of North Main Avenue reported he found a bag of green leafy material in his sons bedroom and turned it into police.

MONDAY

-7:40 p.m.: possession of drugs. Medics and police were dispatched to 204 Doorley Road, Apt. H, for a drug overdose.

Accident

Melinda Gordon, 26, of Piqua, was cited for operation at a stop and yield sign after an accident on Wednesday at 10:28 p.m.

Gordon was stopped northbound on Old Vandemark Road when she pulled out to turn left onto Michigan Street when she struck a vehicle that was traveling westbound on Michigan Street. Gordon said she thought the other vehicle was in the right lane of travel, but she was actually in the left, planning to turn south onto Vandemark Road.

The driver of the other vehicle was Jessica Hamberg, 20, 1786 Shawnee.

-12:16 a.m. to 12:27 p.m.: Medics responded to six calls.

WEDNESDAY

-4:06 to 6:51 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.
