Fairlawn Board of Education

SIDNEY — Fairlawn Local School District’s Board of Education will hold a special meeting Monday, April 11, at 5 p.m. in Room 122 at the school. The meeting will include an executive session to consider the appointment, employment or compensation of an employee.

Anna Board of Education

ANNA — The Anna Board of Education will meet Monday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. in middle school room 209. They board will hear reports from the elementary school on all-day kindergarten, and the high school on SME pride. They will also hear various reports from the treasurer and superintendent.

In new business they will hear recommendations to approve employee contracts, to provide all-day kindergarten next school year and to adopt the 2016-17 school calendar. The board will also enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing the employment of public employees.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet on Monday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. The council will hear the police annual report and the mayor will present a proclamation for nation telecommunication technician week.

Several ordinances will be read for the second time, and discussions will be had on liquor license changes and electric aggregation for municipal facilities.

Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Village Council will meet on Monday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in council chambers. Shelby County Commissioner Bob Guillozet will discuss the county land bank with council. There will then be a presentation by Harry Phillips from AMP about a solar field. Discussion then will happen about the breakdown of cost of a park on Well Field. They will also hear reports from committees and public officials and enter an executive session for the purpose of discussing the purchase or sale of real estate.

Before the regular meeting, at 6 p.m., the council will hold a public meeting at the Family Life Center to inform the community of it’s intentions to apply for grant money.

Fort Loramie Village Council

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Village Council will meet in regular session at 8 p.m., Monday, April 11.

The council will consider resolutions concerning a grant for a park trail and recognizing a long-time village employee and a pay request for Main Street work. Members also will discuss WTP issues and Kubota engine repairs.

Anna Village Council

ANNA — The Anna Village Council will meet on Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in council chambers. The council will read several ordinances for the first time, as well as hear reports from officials and committees.

In old business they will discuss farm land, qualifications based selection for professional services and an income tax levy on the November ballot. In new business they will discuss liquor permit renewals, Newman alley vacation petition, and ihle flooding.

New Bremen Board of Education

NEW BREMEN — The New Bremen Board of Education will meet in regular session, Wednesday, April 13, at 7 p.m., in the Community Room.

The board will consider employment contracts, new wiring and access points in both buildings, donations and changes to revenue and appropriations budget lines.

Botkins Board of Education

BOTKINS — The Botkins Board of Education will meet on Wednesday April 13, at 7 p.m. in the media center. The board will go over the treasurers report and committee reports. In addition they will discuss the expenditure of the IDEA funds, and hear a presentation on RoBotkins from Rob Berryman and Lego League.

In new business they will approve handbooks, and policies, as well as overnight trips, and donations. The board will also hire several personnel members, and summer intervention teachers and custodians.
