The weather continues to wreak havoc on spring sports schedules around the county and area.

Because of the rain/snow and cold, all events scheduled for Friday were called off, and many schools also called off their athletic events scheduled for today.

Among the casualties was the annual Anna Invitational track meet, scheduled today at Anna. Athletic director Mike Muehlfeld heard back from all but two schools scheduled to compete in the meet, and said the decision to cancel the meet was unanimous.

It will not be rescheduled.
