FORT LORAMIE — Mary Ann and John Kuether, of Fort Loramie, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a Mass in St. Joseph Parish, Egypt, at 8:45 a.m., April 17, 2016, and at a reception for invited guests later that day.
John and the former Mary Ann Gehret were married May 4, 1966, in St. Nicholas Parish, in Osgood. The Rev. Louis Schmit performed the ceremony.
They are the parents of three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Fred Buening, and Julie and Ron Brunswick, all of Maria Stein, and Joann and Matt Heuker, of Fort Loramie, and a son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Kelly Kuether, of Maria Stein. They have 18 grandchildren.
The Kuethers were engaged in farming. John retired from Crown Control in New Bremen and Mary Ann retired from Mercer Health in Coldwater.
They enjoy their grandchildren, family, friends, vegetable and flower gardening and their faith.
