SIDNEY — Girl Scout Troop 20283, affiliated with Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ, Sidney, recently completed its annual cookie sales.

Some boxes of cookies were donated by customers, to be provided to a group of the girls’ choice. The troop chose to show its appreciation to the firefighters and emergency response personnel of the Sidney Fire Department for everything they do to help keep us safe in emergency situations.

The Girl Scouts of the United States of America program is for girls who are in kindergarten through 12th grade. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. More than 1.9 million girls take part in Girl Scouts annually.
