TUESDAY

-4:39 a.m.: contempt. Tanisha Sims, 28, 816 W. Race St., Troy, was arrested in Piqua on a bench warrant through Sidney Municipal Court.

-12:02 a.m.: found property. Tamara Lucas, 32, 615 Sixth Ave., reported finding a syringe and a spoon at her home. The property was turned over to be destroyed.

MONDAY

-4:29 p.m.: drug abuse. Police recovered drug paraphernalia from a suspect’s vehicle at 2190 Fair Road.

-3:29 p.m.: theft. Brandi Hunter, 39, 1208 Hazelnut Drive, reported that someone stole a title, batteries and tools out of two vehicles of she and Steven Hunter, 40, from their home.

-11:54 a.m.: theft. Bianca Battis, 20, 815 Arrowhead, reported her cellphone was stolen off of her stroller while shopping at 234 W. Court St.

-11:42 a.m.: contempt. Trevor Henson, 36, 2361 Millcreek Road, was arrested on a warrant.

-9:14 a.m.: theft. Larry Luthman, 68, 1225 Rees St., reported his GPS was stolen out of his unlocked vehicle overnight.

-2:37 a.m.: assault, criminal damaging. Taidge Ritter, 21, 8260 Piqua Lockington Road, reported being assaulted and her cellphone damaged.

-12:04 a.m.: criminal trespass. Chandler Kipp, 19, 11456 Wells Road, Anna, and Samone Brown, 19, 16805 Kettlersville Road, Kettlersville, were arrested for criminal trespass and offenses involving underage persons. Joey Cockcroft, 19, 347 E. Court St., was arrested for criminal trespass, offenses involving underage persons and obstructing official business. Tony Donahue, 18, 220 Oak Ave., was arrested for criminal trespass, offenses involving underage persons and failure to comply with order or signal of a Police Officer. Issac Hunter, 23, 311 S. Miami Road, was arrested for criminal trespass.

SUNDAY

-10:55 p.m.: lost property. Roger Schroer, 84, 15800 Sharp Road, reported that between 9 to 10 p.m., he lost his .380 Walter firearm at 212 Forest St.

-7:30 p.m.: criminal damaging. Christopher Weigandt, 42, 6842 Davidson St., Pemberton, reported that someone smashed out his car window at 1686 Michigan St.

-1:17 p.m.: contempt. Derek Horne, 30, 1502 Township Road, Bellefontaine, was arrested on a warrant.

-9:38 a.m.: theft. Sherry Schroer, 61, 305 S. Wilkinson Street, reported that her wallet, driver’s licence, credit cards, money and other cards were stolen from her home.

SATURDAY

-3:31 p.m.: theft. Walmart on Michigan Street reported that someone took groceries and other merchandise past the point of sale.

-10:41 a.m.: theft. Jon LeMaster, 25, 821 Chestnut Ave., reported that someone stole a GPS system from his unlocked vehicle overnight.

-10:08 a.m.: theft. Perkins on Michigan Street reported that someone stole $450 from the restaurant and a total of $271 from employees, Gloria Harrison, 65, and Stephanie Fulks, 37.

-2:22 a.m.: driving under the influence. Earl Bell II, 24, 1212 Rees Drive, was arrested for OVI.

-2:02 a.m.: driving under the influence. Connor Ross, 24, 744 Countryside Lane, Apt. 12, was arrested for OVI.

FRIDAY

-3:58 p.m.: warrant. Justin Dwyer, 30, 401 N. Walnut St., Apt. 1, was arrested on a warrant from Miami County.

-8:43 a.m.: contempt. Rebecca Burnside, 36, 510 Buckeye Ave., was arrested on a contempt warrant.

WEDNESDAY

-10:15 a.m.: breaking and entering. Doni Donaldson, 51, 740 N. Miami Ave., reported that someone had pried open the building of 301 N. Ohio Ave., between March 19 to 20, and took a chainsaw, generator and a ladder. The case is under investigation.

Accidents

Teresa Gillespie, 50, 109 N. Mill St., Botkins, was cited with failure to control after an accident Friday at 6:09 p.m.

Gillespie was traveling southbound on Brooklyn Avenue at Fielding Street when she crossed the double yellow center line and struck the east curb. Her vehicle continued southbound over the curb in the 400 block where she then struck a bush, a tree, and then the porch of 428 Brooklyn Ave. Finally the vehicle struck the residence of 504 Brooklyn Avenue knocking it off the foundation.

Gillespie said she didn’t remember the crash. She stated only remembering driving to her mother’s home and then seeing her vehicle next to the residence.

• Bryce Davis, of Dayton was transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital, treated and released after an being struck by a vehicle on Sunday at 5:31 p.m.

Lance Jones, 18, 850 Fielding Road, was traveling northbound in the 500 block of North Miami Avenue, when Davis who, standing at 528 1/2 N. Miami Ave., darted out into the path of traffic, causing Jones to hit Davis.

No citations were issued.

• Danielle Small, 27, 826 S. Walnut Ave., was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a collision on Sunday at 6:17 p.m.

Small was backing out of the driveway of 826 S. Walnut Ave., when she stuck the left front end of an unoccupied parked vehicle facing southbound on South Walnut Ave.

The owner of the other vehicle is Veronica Yates, 1107 St. Marys Ave.

• Ann Aust, 33, West Milton, was cited for turning at an intersection after an accident on Saturday at 11:44 a.m.

Aust was traveling northbound in the far right lane on North Main Avenue at the intersection of East Poplar Street when she made a left turn going westbound onto East Popular Street and stuck another vehicle also traveling northbound on North Main Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kenneth Barnes, 46, of Botkins.

• Sierra Grieves, 17, 408 Bel Air Drive, was cited with a clear distance ahead after an accident on Saturday at 9:58 a.m.

Grieves was traveling eastbound on East Court Street when she ran into the back of another vehicle also traveling eastbound that was slowing down to turn right into the Mystic Apartments.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kayla Graham, 24, 1577 E. Court St.

• Nicole Sanders, 23, 625 Fielding Road, was cited with starting and backing vehicles on Friday at 5:45 p.m.

Sanders was parked eastbound at 625 Fielding Road when she backed her vehicle into the unoccupied vehicle parked behind her. Sanders left the scene, was later located and admitted to the crash.

The owner of the other vehicle is Michael Pleasant, 627 Fielding Road.

• Lisa Zumberger, 52, 412 E. Poplar St., was cited for obedience to traffic control device after an accident Thursday at 6:13 a.m.

Zumberger was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when she ran a red light and struck another vehicle that was traveling northbound on Vandemark Road.

The driver of the other vehicle was Chad Henry, 35, 1118 Amherst Drive, Apt. C2. Henry and his passenger, Debra Henry, 32, 1118 Amherst Drive, Apt. C2, were both transported by Sidney EMS to Wilson Memorial Hospital for non-incapacitated injuries.

• Danielle Clark, 25, 855 Merri Lane, was transported by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with non-incapacitating injuries on Wednesday at 6:06 a.m. after her vehicle’s passenger side mirror was struck by Shae Long, 20, 208 Maplewood, of East Liverpool.

Both vehicles were traveling eastbound on Campbell Road when Long stuck Clark. Long said she did not see Clark’s vehicle because Clark’s vehicle’s lights were not on. No citations were issued.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-1:03 to 8:13 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

MONDAY

-10:44 to 10:54 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-7:50 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to an auto accident in the 1900 block of McCloskey School Road.

-6:33 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 220 Queen St. on a report of a natural gas odor. Nothing was found from the investigation.

-2:39 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to a mulch fire at 1975 Michigan St.

-8:19 to 10:01 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-5:51 a.m.: fire. Firefighters investigated a report of an odor in the 1500 block of Westwood Drive.

-5:01 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to one call.

SUNDAY

-2:09 to 10:34 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls.
