WEDNESDAY

-2:21 a.m.: breaking and entering. Police responded to Food Mart on Michigan Street for a pried open front door, damaged lock, and cut wires on the rear of the business.

-12:37 a.m.: assault. Triniti Bundy, 37, 211 E. North St., reported being assaulted at 215 ½ E. North St., with an apparent minor injury of a bloody nose.

TUESDAY

-7:30 p.m.: theft. Willie Johnson, 63, 635 Linden Ave., reported $80 was taken from his house.

-6:59 p.m.: purpose to commit theft. David Gibbs, 60, 214 Wagner Ave., reported someone broke into his detached garage and stole his mower.

-6:32 p.m.: burglary. Marilyn Knief, 46, 1011 Hayes St., reported that someone broke the side door and glass of 443 Jefferson St. and stole $395.

-5:22 p.m.: contempt. Michael Ceyler, 53, 815 Arrowhead Drive, was arrested on a warrant and for resisting arrest.

-2:41 p.m.: criminal damaging. David Elliott, 55, 255 Harvard Ave., reported damage to his truck at his residence.

-1:32 p.m.: litter. Daniel Shaffer, 67, 1931 Port Jefferson Road, reported his neighbor dumping rubbish on his property.

-11:33 a.m.: breaking and entering. Various construction tools were taken from the vacant residence of 423 N. Main Ave.

-11:17 a.m.: theft. Jessie Hawes, 31, 621 N. Main Ave., reported that between 10 to 11:17 a.m. someone removed his “rhino” ramps from his front yard.

SUNDAY

-8:35 p.m.: theft. Roberta Rohrbach, 103 E. Ruth St., reported someone took a street sign at Shelby Street and Main Avenue.

THURSDAY

-2:10 p.m.: found property. A wallet containing various cards belonging to Joseph Stone, 41, 134 Mound St., was found at Sidney Food Mart on Michigan Street and turned into the Police Department.

Accidents

Brittany Dankwerth, 25, 111 S. Wilkinson St., was cited with disobey traffic control device after an accident on Tuesday at 1:01 p.m.

Dankwerth was stopped at the stop sign on Pomeroy Street at North Street. She then hit another vehicle that was headed westbound on North Street when she pulled out.

The driver of the other vehicle was Julie Engstrom, 44, 229 Stewart St.

• Stephanie Kapnick, 24, 611 N. Wagner St., was cited with a clear distance ahead after an accident on Tuesday at 12:01 p.m.

Kapnick was making a right hand turn on to Michigan Street from Fourth Avenue when traffic stopped causing her to hit the back of another vehicle as she completed her turn.

The driver of the other vehicle was Jeffrey Cable, 57, 141 W. Parkwood St.

WEDNESDAY

-3:35 to 4:35 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

TUESDAY

-6:48 to 10:36 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-3:41 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to East Court and Brooklyn Avenue for an accident with injuries.

-12 to 3:22 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.
