-12:25 a.m.: assault. Robert Parker, 28, 2325 Collins Drive, Apt. H, was assaulted resulting in minor injuries in the 100 block of North Ohio Avenue.

MONDAY

-10:57 p.m.: theft. Fuel Stop on West Court Street reported a possible theft. No theft was found and property was later returned to a suspect.

-7:31 p.m.: theft. Rose Boyer, 31, 625 Johnston Drive, reported the theft of a black and white BMX bike from her residence.

-7:19 p.m.: theft. Shawn Unger, 40, 707 Broadway Avenue, reported the theft of his wheel barrow from his residence.

-6:55 p.m.: theft. John McCutchins, 68, 1124 Constitution Ave., reported someone took his water heater from his driveway.

-6:25 p.m.: theft. Matthew Bertsch, 29, 1049 N. Main Ave., reported an Outboard motor boat and a refrigerator were taken from his yard.

-3:16 p.m.: probation violation. Johnny Chiles Jr., 32, Lewistown, was arrested on an active warrant.

-10:40 a.m.: contempt. Magan Caskey, 25, 331 Fifth Ave., was arrested on a warrant.

-10:14 a.m.: contempt. Whitney Tucker, 25, 2518 Broadway Ave., was arrested for contempt and a probation violation.

-8:21 a.m.: contempt. Kevin Lawaon, 48, Cincinnati, was arrested on a warrant.

-8:19 a.m.: theft. Carrie Nation, 41, 1107 East Ave., reported that someone she knows stole her credit card.

-5:01 a.m.: theft. Katelynn Blankenship, 18, 827 S. Ohio Ave., reported the theft of her debit card from her vehicle at her home.

-2 a.m.: driving under the influence. Police have issued a warrant request for a person involved in a traffic stop on West Russell Road and Fourth Avenue. The individual who fled on foot and is currently at large and is being sought for OVI and resisting arrest.

SUNDAY

-8:24 p.m.: theft. John Fugate, 52, 701 Johnston Drive, reported the theft of a lawn mover from his residence.

-7:11 p.m.: found property. The identity card belonging to Tyler Lucas, 21, of Piqua, was found at Chilly Jilly’s on South Ohio Avenue and turned into the Police Department.

-12:03 a.m.: found property. A girl’s small, purple and white bike and a mountain bike were found at Con-Way Freight on Campbell Road, and placed in the Police Department’s property garage.

SATURDAY

-2:32 p.m.: lost property. Marcella Hensley, 80, 622 Ardiss St., lost her wallet at on Cazadores on Michigan Street.

FRIDAY

-11:21 p.m.: criminal damaging. Albert Watter, 64, 991 N. Wagner Ave., reported that someone scratched the paint on the left side of his truck bed while it was parked in his driveway between Thursday evening and Friday evening.

-7:22 p.m.: theft. Lindsey Jones, 23, 301 Enterprise Ave., was arrested after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of merchandise valued at $687.75.

-4:18 p.m.: burglary. Fernando Kampos, 40, 2441 Apache Drive, reported someone entered his home and took jewelry, an Xbox and games, and money.

-4:16 p.m.: contempt. Thomas Ganger, 43, 213 E. North St., was arrested on a warrant.

-2:29 p.m.: contempt. Joshua Tuttle, 35, 1001 Fourth St., was arrested on a warrant.

-1:49 p.m.: theft. Aaron Mikusa, 26, 519 Parkwood St., reported being scammed out of $700 when he attempted to obtain an internet loan after sending the required money.

-7:59 a.m.: found property. Three wallets containing a total of $11 was found at 224 W. Court St. were turned into the Police Department.

-5:05 a.m.: driving under suspension. Rachel Wilson, 33, 131 Franklin Ave., was arrested for driving under OVI suspension.

Accidents

Rebecca Frazier, 60, 501 N. West Ave., was cited with right of way private drive after an accident on Monday at 2:13 p.m.

Frazier was making a left turn out of a private drive at 166 W. Court St. when she was struck by another vehicle that was traveling westbound on West Court Street in the left lane of travel in the 100 block.

The driver of the other vehicle was Gregory Johnson, 52, 1627 Holly Place.

• Chastity Campbell, 38, 320 N. Main Ave., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Sunday at 4:57 p.m.

Campbell was traveling eastbound in the far right lane on Michigan Street at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and misjudged the flow of traffic as she approached a traffic light that had just turned green striking the rear of another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was Vernon Gilfillen, 75, 20900 State Route 706.

• Nathan McClain, 34, 555 Gearhart Road, was cited with failure to control after an accident on Sunday at 11:28 a.m.

McClain was traveling southbound in the 2600 block of County Road 25A when he drifted to the west and struck a mailbox.

• Brittany Walker, 23, 1028 Hazelnut Lane, was cited with failure to control after an accident on Saturday at 7:30 a.m.

Walker was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 in the left lane of travel when she spun at the intersection of South Wilkinson Avenue and then went off the right side of the road and came to rest in a ditch.

• Hillary Davis was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Friday at 9:26 p.m.

Davis was traveling southbound on Fourth Avenue approaching the intersection at Michigan Street when the vehicle in front of Davis stopped causing her to hit the back of the other vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was Lois Layman, 66, 17087 Gearhart Road.

• Jeffrey Swartz, 36, Troy, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Thursday at 3:43 p.m.

Swartz was traveling westbound on state Route 47 approaching Franklin Avenue and struck the back of the vehicle in front of him which had come to a sudden stop.

The driver of the other vehicle was Cassandra Johnston, 16, 140 Brooklyn Ave. Johnston was taken by the Sidney Fire Department to Wilson Hospital.

• Timothy Williams, 51, St. Marys, was cited for improper backing after an accident on Thursday at 3:21 p.m.

Williams was pouring concrete for curbs and the roadway on Washington Street and East Avenue, and while backing up, he failed to see the guide wire for a utility pole on the east side of East Avenue, struck the wire fast and caused it to break from the pole.

TUESDAY

-12:31 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

MONDAY

-8:04 to 11:46 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

-7:40 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 126 E. Parkwood St. on a report of an open burn. The fire was not permitted by city ordinance.

-6:53 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

-6:51 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 121 W. Popular St. on a false fire alarm.

-2:13 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched to the 100 block of West Court Street for a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries or hazards.

-4:58 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

SUNDAY

-7:26 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 618 Ann Place to investigate a gas odor. Nothing was found.

-7:06 p.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to 1150 W. Russell Road on a fire alarm.

-6:50 p.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to 915 Michigan St. on a false fire alarm.

-6:07 a.m. to 5:12 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls.

SATURDAY

-2:44 a.m. to 10:26 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eleven calls.

-2:13 a.m.: public assistance. Crew responded to the 2400 block of Industrial Drive.

-12:09 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

FRIDAY

-8:56 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

-6:50 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 2599 Michigan St. on a false fire alarm.

-11:14 a.m. to 7 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls.

-8:38 a.m.: line down. Crews were dispatched to 2005 Campbell Road on the report of a line down.

-7:33 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.
