SPRINGBORO — La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Springboro has opened the popular musical, “Grease.”
It will run through June 26.
The nostalgic and heart-pumping tribute to the rock-and-roll era of the 1950s is one of the most-requested shows at Ohio’s only professional dinner theatre.
La Comedia has produced the original version that introduced Danny and Sandy into American pop culture in 1972, preceding the blockbuster hit movie release in 1978. Fans of the movie will hear many of the beloved songs they know by heart, including “Greased Lightnin,” “Summer Nights,” “Beauty School Dropout” and “We Go Together.”
A gourmet buffet featuring chef-carved meats and sweet potato souffle is served before each performance and is included in the ticket price. Adult tickets range in price from $59 to $75. An early bird discount of $4 per ticket applies to May performances.
