Sidney firefighters responded to smoke at The SMS Group located at 1085 Fairington Drive Wednesday, June 1, where they believe there was a mechanical failure in an air handling unit on the roof causing the unit to discharge smoke through the buildings HVAC resulting in an evacuation of the building.
