TUESDAY

-5:30 a.m.: failure to appear. Logan Platfoot, 22, Kettlersville, was arrested on a warrant.

-5:26 a.m.: theft. Martha Rogers, 63, 301 E. Court St., Apt A, reported someone stole miscellaneous vehicle papers from her vehicle at her residence.

MONDAY

-9:42 p.m.: found property. An Ohio identification card and an EBT card belonging to Jason Moton, 50, 721 S. Miami Ave., Apt 30, was found on the sidewalk and turned in to the police department.

-7:55 p.m.: contempt. Diana Daniel, 42, 1315 S. Main St., was arrested on an active warrant.

-4:26 p.m.: criminal damaging. Richard Thompson, 44, 320 Franklin Ave., reported someone broke out a window to his residence overnight.

-9:28 a.m.: found property. A park employee found $4 in the 800 block of South Miami Avenue and was turned in to the police department.

-5:22 a.m.: theft. Estella Ping, 51, 714 Broadway Ave., reported someone stole her Craftsman lawnmower from her residence.

SUNDAY

-11:31 p.m.: disorderly conduct. James Hughes, 45, 202 N. Walnut Ave., was arrested for disorderly conduct after it was reported that he was causing a disturbance.

-7:56 p.m.: driving under the influence. Ricky Bailey, 57, Orient, was arrested for OVI and driving under suspension.

-6:42 p.m.: safekeeping. Police investigated a complaint made by Roy Elder Jr., 39, 121 W. Poplar St., Apt 611, and removed a XBG BB gun with a magazine full of BBs and an Uncle Mike’s gun holster for safekeeping.

-5:03 p.m.: contempt. Rendall Vaughn, 28, 306 Monroe St., was arrested on an active warrant.

-5:01 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Zoey Kellem, 18, at large, was arrested on an active grand jury indictment warrant.

-11:31 a.m.: warrant. Eugene Woodruff, 52, 1000 N. Wagner Ave., was arrested on a warrant out of Darke County. He was taken to Shelby County Jail.

-8:21 a.m.: criminal damaging. Vanessa Leffler, 27, 429 N. Wagner Ave., reported someone had busted out the front passenger side window of her vehicle at Fifth Third Bank on South Ohio Avenue.

-5:43 a.m.: assault. Police are investigating the report made by Wilson Health Emergency Room of a severe laceration to the head of Nathaniel Nichols, 22, 306 Monroe St., who said he was assaulted.

SATURDAY

-11:20 p.m.: criminal damaging. Tyler Vanfossen, 18, 415 E. Poplar St., reported someone had damaged the vehicle of Forrest Sherman, 46, 644 Fair Road at Vanfossen’s residence.

-9:02 p.m.: probation violation. Jayvon Brownlow, 21, 733 Broadway Ave., was arrested on an active warrant and charged with drug abuse for possession of a marijuana roach.

-5:59 p.m.: criminal damaging. May Maxwell, 69, Troy, reported someone damaged the rear passenger side door of his vehicle at 1130 Riverbend Blvd.

-5:53 p.m.: theft. April Schmidlapp, 59, 744 Brooklyn Ave., Apt. 8, reported someone stole water drains from her yard.

-5:09 p.m.: driving under OVI suspension. Corey Cummins, 25, West Liberty, was arrested for driving under OVI suspension.

-11:51 a.m.: theft. Bradley Hohenstein, 58, 904 E. Parkwood St., reported someone stole his mailbox and post between 4 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Saturday from his yard.

-9:08 a.m.: theft. Gary Koppin, 57, 2201 Wells Drive, reported someone stole his mailbox and post between 5 p.m. Friday and 8:45 a.m. Saturday from his yard.

-2:29 a.m.: driving under the influence. Kayla Barrett, 21, 1579 E. Court St., Apt. C, was arrested for OVI.

FRIDAY

-11:55 p.m.: warrant. Rebecca Watson, 45, 116 Pomeroy Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant through the Bellefontaine Police Department.

-10:30 p.m.: aggravated menacing. Amber Krueger, 25, 1535 Spruce Ave., reported a threat was made by her ex-boyfriend.

-10:05 p.m.: probation violation. Tessa Copeland, 20, 836 Park St., Apt. B , was arrested on a probation violation warrant.

-8:51 p.m.: theft. Nicole Mullins, 32, 836 Park St., Apt. D, reported someone stole her black wallet containing $100, a Visa debit card and other items from her residence.

-4:33 p.m.: theft. Samantha Striff, 18, 209 Franklin Ave., reported she received an email confirmation that her package of two cubic zirconium rings had been delivered to 1200 Cinnamon Ridge Lane on May 26 but it was not there.

-9:05 a.m.: receiving stolen property. John Riley, 34, Dayton, was arrested on two outstanding warrants out of Sidney Municipal Court.

-8:06 a.m.: theft. Angela Myers, 40, 514 W. North St., reported the theft of 80 Xanax prescription pills.

-7:59 a.m.: theft. Georgia Spears, 64, 402 E. Court St., reported someone removed the break pads from her vehicle and returned them to AutoZone. The break pads were credited back to her debit card upon the return.

THURSDAY

-8:25 p.m.: theft. Linda Hammons, 60, 215 S. Miami Ave., reported someone stole $675 from her purse at Sam’s Skating Club on East Russell Road between June 4 at 7 p.m. and June 9 at 8:25 p.m.

May 31

-8:25 a.m.: found property. A black diabetic kit was found at 234 E. Court St. and was turned into the police department as lost and found.

Accidents

Phillis Jones, 75, 517 Campbell Road, was cited with traffic control device after an accident on Monday at 3:04 p.m.

Jones was stopped facing northbound at the stop sign on Clem Road at the intersection of Children’s Home Road and pulled out and hit another vehicle on the left side she failed to see that was traveling westbound on Children’s Home Road.

The driver of the other vehicle was Deborah Young, 52, 1222 Grove St.

• Rick Sims, 32, 921 E. Parkwood St., was cited with assured clear distance after an accident on Saturday at 3:01 p.m.

Sims was traveling westbound and when pulling over to stop on East North Street he struck another vehicle that had been traveling westbound on East North Street and was attempting to pull into a parking spot.

The driver of the other vehicle was Dustin Wise, 40, 209 N. Highland Ave.

• William Zula, 44, Huber Heights, was cited with driving under suspension after an accident on Saturday at 1:32 p.m.

Zula was westbound in the parking lot Kentucky Fried Chicken on South Vandemark Road and struck the driver’s side of another vehicle headed southbound in Kentucky Fried Chicken’s parking lot that he said he failed to see.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kathleen Snider, 62, 142 S. Vandemark Road.

• Rebecca Watson, 45, 116 Pomeroy Ave., was cited with failure to control after an accident on Friday at 11:55 p.m.

Watson was traveling westbound on state Route 47 at the I-75 overpass when she failed to maintain control of the vehicle and struck a lighted temporary directional sign in a construction/work zone. She continued to travel westbound on state Route 47 until being stopped by the police.

Fire, rescue

MONDAY

-10:50 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

-8:16 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 915 Michigan St. on a false fire alarm.

-7:27 to 10:13 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-6:23 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to the mile-marker 92 on I-75 on the report of a mulch fire.

-5:34 to 5:46 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-3:04 a.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched to the intersection of Brooklyn Avenue and Children’s Home Road on the report of an automobile accident.

-2:57 to 3 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-2:21 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.

-2:22 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to mile-marker 92 on I-75 on the report of a grass fire.

SUNDAY

-8:38 to 9:40 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.

-6:08 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 800 Park St. on the report of a dumpster fire.

-5:17 to 5:49 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-3:59 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 85 S. Vandemark Road on the report of a small grass fire.

-1:13 to 1:31 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-9:34 a.m.: CO alarm. Firefighters were dispatched to 2055 Wagner Ave., on an activated carbon monoxide detector. The home was ventilated and the gas appliances were secured.
