Cruisers for Cure set car show

SIDNEY — The Joker Mobile, Batman’s motocycle and Bumblebee from the Transformers will be on display at the Cruisers for a Cure sixth annual Make-A-Wish Car Show and Country Concert, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Sidney Auto-Vue Drive-In, Russell Road and Fourth Ave.

Truck, car and bike owners can enter their vehicles for $10 registration fees. Proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Lexi Dawn will perform during the event. Super heroes from Super Strong will stage some wrestling matches.

The first 50 entries will received goodie bags and dash plaques. There will be an acution, raffles, a 50/50 drawing and vendors.

At 1 p.m., Sidney Mayor Mike Barhorst will proclaim the day Make-A-Wish Day in Sidney.

Two Shelby County children who had their wishes come true in the recent past, thanks to the foundation, will attend this year’s car show.
