MONDAY

-1:42 p.m.: contempt. Jeffery Jackson, 33, 829 Mount Vernon Place, was arrested on a contempt warrant out of the Sidney Municipal Court and taken to the Shelby County Jail.

-1:06 p.m.: theft. Ian Quick, 22, 113 N. Highland Ave., Apt. 1E, reported someone broke into his vehicle and stole a bag of welding tools, his vehicle title, an auxiliary cord and a father’s day gift bag between 9:30 p.m. June 19 and 12:30 p.m. June 20 at his residence.

-12:06 p.m.: theft. Kaitlyn Williamson, 21, 113 N. Highland Ave., Apt. E, reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her vehicle title and registration, and miscellaneous clothes between 9 p.m. June 19 and 12:06 p.m. June 20 at her residence.

-8:52 a.m.: theft. Rodney Unverferth, 27, 113 N. Highland Ave., Apt. 3E, reported someone broke out the driver’s side window to his vehicle and stole his wallet containing credit cards, driver’s license and an OSU football jersey between 10 p.m. June 19 and 8:30 a.m. June 20 at his residence.

SUNDAY

-7:44 p.m.: using weapons while intoxicated. Police are investigating a complaint made at 611 St. Marys Ave. and are to serve charges to someone discharging firearms while intoxicated.

-4:10 p.m.: found property. Brian Shaffer, 35, 718 Broadway Ave., found an accu-check with syringes and insulin in a black case at East Kossuth Street and North East Avenue and turned it into the police department.

-5:58 a.m.: criminal damaging. Dustin Ball, 26, at large, was arrested after Fuel Stop on West Court Street reported he entered the business and began damaging the property. He broke two Southern Comfort bottles, and a six-pack and 12-pack of beer.

SATURDAY

-10:03 p.m.: driving under the influence. Wyatt Stafford, 23, Maplewood, was arrested for OVI.

-6:09 p.m.: burglary. Marla Grise, 47, 768 Countryside Lane, Apt. 1, reported someone damaged the lock on her apartment overnight.

-4:10 p.m.: found property. Bill Rankin, 415 Lunar St., found a small baggie of suspected cocaine at Deam Park and turned it into the police department.

-3:31 p.m.: theft. John Moorman Jr., 40, 532 N. Miami Ave., was arrested after Menards on Lester Avenue they reported the theft of a 20-piece ratchet set.

-8:55 a.m.: probation violation. Jacob Martin, 22, 204 Doorley Road, Apt. F, was arrested on a probation violation.

-2:31 a.m.: driving under the influence. Gary Cox, 61, 5156 Frazier Guy Road, was arrested for OVI.

FRIDAY

11:29 p.m.: aggravated arson. Roy Rust, 65, 309 E. Court St., reported someone came on to his property and set on fire his outdoor carpeting along with a blue jean jacket with a Donald Trump sign on it.

-4:03 p.m.: theft. Dollar General on West Court Street reported the theft of two Sylvania compact DVD players.

-3:51 p.m.: warrant. Cody Lowe, 20, 818 Wapakoneta Ave., Apt. 8, was arrested on an active warrant.

-8:54 a.m.: contempt. Jaton Songao Santos, 40, 314 Kossuth Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Sidney Municipal Court.

-8:28 a.m.: warrant. Lindsay Rice, 34, of North Dakota, was arrested on a warrant.

THURSDAY

-9:14 p.m.: telephone harassment. Christopher Clark, 41, 3565 Lindsey Road, was arrested and issued a summons after Marsha Gehle, 49, 1280 Turner Drive reported him for telecommunications harassment.

-1:58 p.m.: theft. Tonya Harbin, 48, 529 ½ Rauth St., reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle and removed $80, a PMC bank card and four Kings Island day passes.

TUESDAY

-9:09 a.m.: found property. A large white leather purse with contents was found in the yard of 314 N. Ohio Ave. and was placed into evidence at the police department.

Accidents

John Isabrandt, 51, 427 N. Main Ave., was cited with left turn one way with two lanes after an accident on Monday at 2:45 p.m.

Isabrandt was traveling northbound in the far right lane of the 100 block of South Main Avenue and hit another vehicle traveling northbound in the far left lane of the 100 block of South Main Avenue when he attempted to turn left into a parking spot.

The driver of the other vehicle was Malik White, 17, 528 S. Main Ave.

• Katie Walker, 25, 339 N. West Ave., was cited with overtaking passing on right after an accident on Sunday at 5:24 p.m.

Walker was traveling westbound in the 100 block of West North Street when he hit the left side of another vehicle also traveling westbound directly in front of her which had slowed down and was attempting to turn right. Walker said she thought the other vehicle was planning to turn left when slowing down so she began to pass on the right side.

The driver of the other vehicle was Floyd Stewart, 65, 122 W. North St., Apt. C.

• Jonathan Aukerman, 23, Jackson Center, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Saturday at 12:53 p.m.

Aukerman was traveling westbound on Russell Road approaching Sixth Avenue when he hit the rear of another vehicle stopped in traffic headed westbound on Russell Road waiting to turn southbound onto Sixth Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kody Gossard, 22, 740 St. Marys Road.

• Robert Nichols, 27, 711 Second Ave., was cited with assured clear distance after an accident on Friday at 1:51 p.m.

Nichols was traveling eastbound on West Michigan Street in the left lane approaching Vandemark Road when he hit the rear of another vehicle also headed eastbound on West Michigan Street going through the intersection at Vandemark Road.

The driver of the other vehicle was Thomas Schmitmeyer, 51, Jackson Center.

• No one was cited after an accident on Friday at 2:48 p.m.

Olivia Kimbler, 23, 615 Maywood Place, was attempting to turn left onto the southbound I-75 on-ramp from state Route 47 when she was hit by another vehicle headed westbound on state Route 47 at I-75.

The driver of the other vehicle was Abou Dia, 56, 712 Countryside Lane, Apt. 1.

Kimbler said she turned left on a yellow light. Dia said he had a green light. A witness behind Kimbler said the light was red for both vehicles before she turned. Police were unable to determine who is at fault.

• Terrance White, 44, Fort Loramie, was cited with failure to control and charged with an OVI after an accident on Friday at 5:23 a.m.

White was traveling eastbound in the 1300 block of East Court Street when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole.

• No one was cited after an accident on Friday at 1:10 a.m.

Dwayne Valentine Jr., 36, 2202 Broadway Ave., was traveling eastbound in the parking lot of Walmart on Michigan Street when he failed to negotiate a curve, struck a curb and a concrete drain. Valentine attempted several times to get out of the ditch before officers arrived. There were no citations at that time. Police are awaiting lab results.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-2:07 a.m. to 12:42 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 10 calls.

MONDAY

-1:39 a.m. to 8:56 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 10 calls.

-9:15 a.m.: assist. Firefighters were dispatched to 124 N. Ohio Ave. to assist the police department with a search.

SUNDAY

-5:17 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 2190 Fair Road on the report of a vehicle fire.

-9:51 a.m. to 9:41 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 10 calls.
