WEDNESDAY

-7:34 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of Bruce Klingler, 53, 312 Windsor Parke Drive, of the theft of a red Roadmaster mountain bike and a black and red Trek mountain bike stolen from the YMCA.

-4:16 p.m.: theft. Angela Lee, 47, 480 Riverside Drive, reported theft of a black Next mountain bike from her residence sometime within the last several weeks.

-8:18 a.m.: possession of drugs. Lashawn Hazel, 45, 2400 Wapakoneta Ave., Lot 13, was arrested for possession of heroin during the execution of a search warrant.

-2:28 a.m.: driving under the influence. Patricia Slagle, 31, Piqua was arrested for OVI.

Accidents

Dillon Hounshell, 23, 1088 S. Kuther Road, was cited with reasonable control after an accident on Tuesday at 3:37 a.m.

Hounshell was traveling northbound on Main Avenue when he dropped his cell phone and as he reached down to pick it up drifted to the right and collided with another vehicle that was parked in front of 908 N. Main Ave. The force of the impact then caused that parked vehicle forward into another parked in front of the first vehicle struck.

The owner of the first vehicle struck is Roland Himes III, and the owner of the second vehicle struck is Ashley Himes, both of 908 N. Main Ave.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-4:13 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to the area of Clinton Avenue and Jefferson Street on the report of a transformer arcing. Nothing was found.

-3 to 3:05 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-2 a.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to 107 S. Wilkinson Ave. for an open burn investigation.

WEDNESDAY

-4:07 p.m.: mutual aid. Crews responded to a call for mutual aid from Anna.

-2:14 to 9:06 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.
