RUSSIA — Betty and Paul Sherman, of Russia, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Oct. 9, 2016, with family in Bruckens in Fort Loramie.

Paul and the former Betty Schlater were married, Oct. 8, 1966, in the St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star.

The Shermans are the parents of a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Michelle Sherman, of Yorkshire; and three daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Mike Wendel and Lori and Chris Clune, all of Maria Stein, and Diane and Josh Keller, of Horatio. They have 13 grandchildren.

Paul is retired from Miami Industries in Piqua. Betty is employed part time by Custom Foam Products in Fort Loramie.
