Sidney City Local School District five-year permanent improvement levy:

A thriving community needs infrastructure, medical care, police, fire protection, and a healthy public school system to keep and attract talented citizens. On Nov. 8, we will have the opportunity to help our Sidney City Schools (SCS).

Our SCS buildings range from 14 to 66 years old and take constant care to keep them in the condition that reflects the vision of our Sidney community. The significant maintenance needs additional funding and is the purpose of the five-year Permanent Improvement (PI) levy.

The PI levy is limited to five years duration, at which time it will be subject to the review of our voters. The monies collected from it can only be used for needs with a useful life of five years and more, such as facility repairs and upgrades including technology and student learning tools. PI money CANNOT be used for salaries, wages, or benefits.

Please join us in helping to make the seven facilities for our 3,500 students more secure and equipped and our operations more efficient and effective by supporting the PI Levy.
