RUSSIA — Katie Jo Petty, of Russia, and Jared James Brandewie, of Fort Loramie, have announced their engagement and plans to marry, Nov. 12, 2016, in the St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Angela and James Petty Jr., of Russia. She graduated from Russia Local Schools in 2008 and from the University of Toledo in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education. She is employed by the Council on Rural Services as a preschool teacher.
Her fiance is the son of Karen and John Brandewie, of Fort Loramie. He is a 2007 graduate of Fort Loramie Local Schools. He is employed by Honda of America EGA as a mechanical technician.
