Shelley Smedley, center, decided to take advantage of the warm weather and hold her children’s home school class outside at Tawawa Park Wednesday, Nov. 2. The lesson for the day was on Samuel Adams and the start of the Revolutionary War. McDonald’s Happy Meals were eaten for lunch. Taking in the lesson are sisters Catherine, left, 6, and Elizabeth Smedley, 9, all of Sidney. The sisters are also the children of Troy Smedley.
