MONDAY

-7:34 p.m.: theft. Shawnda Jones, 39, 809 Mount Vernon Place, reported the theft of her son’s Under Armour book bag containing school supplies from her porch.

-7 p.m.: burglary. Johathan Schaffner, 39, 119 ½ N. Wilkinson Ave., reported someone took his 43-inch Sanyo TV.

-3:19 p.m.: domestic violence. Kenny DeMarcus, 21, 836 St. Marys Ave., Apt. G, was arrested for domestic violence.

-1:13 p.m.: warrant. Kassia Alberts, 29, Pemberton, was arrested on a warrant.

-12:50 p.m.: theft. Jimmie Martin, 78, 522 E. Court St. Apt A, reported someone took a box containing several assorted case knives.

SUNDAY

-7:43 p.m.: theft. Misty Harvey, 36, 1151 Riverbend Blvd., reported the theft of her Smith & Wesson 9 mm handgun sometime with in the last two weeks.

-6:25 p.m.: criminal damaging. Tony Blankenship, 51, 701 W. North St., was arrested for criminial damaging after Sundance Property Management on Highland Avenue reported damage to a brick retaining wall of the property in the 500 block of Carey Street.

-9:46 a.m.: burglary. William Bremke, 45, 230 Jefferson St., Apt. 10, reported someone came into his residence through a window while he was asleep.

-7:24 a.m.: contempt. Wayton Vondenhueval, 24, 21121 Maplewood Road, was arrested on an active warrant.

-1:07 a.m.: driving under the influence. Shane Lambert, 25, 127 Oldham Ave., was arrested for OVI and drug abuse.

SATURDAY

-1:50 a.m.: theft. Patricia Neal, 27, Piqua, reported a theft of car keys at the 100 block of North Main Avenue.

-12:35 p.m.: burglary. Police are investigating the report made by Sondra Cotterman, 53, 1842 Robert Place, that someone had destroyed the door jam to her master bedroom, ransacked her home, and took a diamond cluster gold ring worth $1,000, a diamond tennis bracelet worth $1,000, $20 in change, and a Craftsman drill and sander.

-12:31 a.m.: found property. A men’s black wallet belonging to Michael Brandy, 60, Cincinnati, was found at Burger King on Michigan Street which contained $914, three credit cards and a driver’s licence was turned into the police department.

FRIDAY

-10:43 p.m.: criminal trespass. Valerie Cartwright, 37, 433 E. Poplar St., was arrested after she refused to leave and Wilson Health on Michigan Street reported criminal trespass.

-7:22 p.m.: criminal damaging. Deven Cowan, 18, 930 Evergreen St., was arrested for criminal damaging, theft and receiving stolen property, after Walmart on Michigan Street reported he stole a display IPhone, wall-charger, charging cable and USB cable, and caused damage to a display case.

-4:33 p.m.: theft. Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of a EverLast Plus car battery by a male, that was valued at $74.88.

-4:09 p.m.: theft. Natasha Baker, 23, 619 St. Marys Ave., reported the theft of a blue duffel bag, an Adidas duffel bag, miscellaneous girl’s clothing and legal paperwork from 314 Forest Ave.

-1:34 p.m.: theft. Amanda Weiler, 28, 1507 E. Court St., Apt. B, reported an assault and the theft of two Social Security cards, three birth certificates, a personal ID card, and a food card.

-12:27 p.m.: criminal damaging. Tyler Swan, 415 ½ S. Miami Ave., reported being awoken at 7 a.m. that morning by a loud noise and then noticed the front window was broken by a rock found among the broken glass.

-11:40 a.m.: found property. A men’s brown wallet belonging to Alan Stephens, 35, Pemberton, was found and turned into the police department.

-9:17 a.m.: contempt. Jordan Downing, 20, 405 E. Poplar St., was arrested on a warrant.

THURSDAY

– 9:01 p.m.: possession of drugs. A 17-year-old was arrested for possession of marijuana.

-12:25 p.m.: theft. Constance Lange, 61, Celina, reported the theft of her Ford Escape from the 500 block of North Main Avenue.

Crashes

Dustin Platfoot, 35, 802 Foraker Ave., was cited with starting and backing after a two-vehicle collision on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

Platfoot was traveling westbound on Cherry Drive and was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Foraker Avenue when he put his vehicle in reverse and backed into the vehicle driven by Marcus Roll, 30, 807 Chestnut Ave., that was stopped behind him.

Platfoot’s vehicle had no visible damage, but Roll’s vehicle sustained disabling damage.

• Jessie Stanfield, 74, 229 S. Brooklyn Ave., was cited with failure to yield from private drive after a two-vehicle collision on Sunday at 10:25 a.m.

Stanfield was attempting to back out of the private drive at 119 E. Water St. when he struck the driver’s side door of the vehicle driven by Fredrick Dickas, 85, 873 Chestnut Ave., that was stopped on East Water Street in traffic.

• Charles Dilsaver, 16, of Pemberton, was cited with operate without reasonable control after a crash on Saturday at 9:16 p.m.

Dilsaver was traveling northbound on Fielding Road when he lost control of the vehicle and went off the road to the left causing damage to the curb and vehicle.

• Darrell Hein, 75, of Huber Heights, was cited with right of way at private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 1:12 p.m.

Hein was pulling out Speedway’s drive on state Route 47 and hit the vehicle driven by Kristina Diehl, 24, of Tipp City, that was traveling eastbound on state Route 47.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-1:11 to 4:11 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.

MONDAY

-5:57 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to the 700 block of Crescent Drive for an odor investigation.

-10:19 a.m.: spill. Crews responded to the 500 block of Bowman Drive on the report of a diesel spill.

-12:46 a.m. to 4:27 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 12 calls.

SUNDAY

-3:49 to 11:57 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls.
