MCCARTYVILLE — Barbara and Marcellus “Bud” Hoying, of McCartyville, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary, Nov. 22, 2016.

Marcellus and the former Barbara Thieman were married Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 1956, in the St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry.

Marcellus is the son of the late Agnes and Charles Hoying. Barbara is the daughter of the late Alvina and Joseph Thieman.

The Hoyings are the parents of four daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Michael Stewart and Brenda and Scott Wuebker, all of Anna, Joyce and Thomas Frantz, of Sidney, and Lynne and Kevin Dapore, of Russia; and a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sandy Hoying, of Anna. They have 15 grandchildren and five great-granchildren.

The Hoyings are members of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in McCartyville.
