Nancy Luthman, of Russia, and her family celebrated Christmas by placing the baby Jesus in the manager of the nativity scene at their home on Christmas Day. The family drew names and Luke Francis, son of Adam and Katy Francis, of Versailles, was chosen to put baby Jesus in the manager. He was assisted during the special ceremony by Nancy Luthman, who is his great-grandmother. The family released balloons and sang “Happy Birthday” to Jesus. They also sang “Go, Tell it on the Mountain.” After singing the songs, the family celebrated Jesus’s birth by having birthday cake.
