RUSSIA — Emily and Travis Meyer, of Russia, have announced the birth of a daughter, Megan Elizabeth Meyer, born Dec. 14, 2016, at 11:01 a.m., in the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.

She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

Her maternal grandparents are Toni and Daniel Schafer, of Houston. Her paternal grandparents are Donna and Arthur Meyer, of Covington.

Her mother is the former Emily Schafer.
