FORT LORAMIE — On Dec. 20, 2016, the Fort Loramie and St. Henry Communities came together for the Third Annual Holiday Helpers game put on by the Fort Loramie Boys Basketball team.

Holiday Helpers is an event that has been held for the last three years at Fort Loramie. The Redskin Boys basketball program encourages all people in attendance to bring a new toy to be donated to Dayton Children’s Hospital. This year both communities showed their generosity and compassion during the holiday by donating over 600 toys.

The Fort Loramie Boys Basketball team delivered the toys on Wednesday, Dec. 28, to Dayton Children’s.

The eight boys, Seniors Cody Gasson, Nate Pleiman, Dillon Braun, Evan Berning, Tyler Siegel, Austin Siegel, Cody Barhorst, Jarrett Meyer, went on the floor in the Child Life unit to hand deliver toys to children who were suffering in the hospital.
