Eilerman elected chairman

HOUSTON — The Houston Join Ambulance District met in special session for the sole purpose of reorganization on Jan. 3, 2017, at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Carol Fanning. The financial report showed $1,698.13 in the general fund.

The board elected Trustee Michael Eilerman as chairman and Trustee Fanning as vice chairman.

After a discussion regarding wages and fees, the trustees approved a motion to keep wages and fees the same as 2016 with wages as $50 per scheduled meeting for trustees per attended meeting and $75 for the clerk per scheduled meeting. Fees for copies of any and all documents will remain 10 cents per copied page when an individual and/or business request is received.

Regular meeting dates were approved for Jan. 17, March 21, May 16, July 18, Sept. 19, Nov. 21 and Dec. 19, which will be the closing meeting of the year. All meetings will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Houston Rescue Services building, 2125 Russia-Houston Road, Houston.
