SIDNEY — Franklin Township trustees met on Jan. 3 for their first meeting for 2017.

The chairman is Alex Berner. Co-chairman is Roger Schulze. The third trustee is Mel Fullenkamp and the fiscal officer is Deb Bodenmiller.

The new sexton for Pearl Cemetery is Jessica Geuy. Prices for Pearl Cemetery will be changing March 1, 2017. Lots will be $450; deeds, $20; open and close, $500; plus many more changes. For more information, call Geuy at 937-497-7899.

All trustee meetings are open to the public. Starting in March, the meetings will be held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. The meetings are held at 11095 County Road 25A, Sidney.

The February meeting is Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m.

The 2017 Franklin Township Zoning Commission is James Bertsch, Jim McCracken, Teresa Douglas, Libby Allison and Alan Michaels.

The 2017 Franklin Township Zoning Board of Appeals is Ned Davidson, John Huecker, Sue Howell, Charles Pence and Tom Curtner.

The budgetary meeting will be held on Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. at the township building.
