VERSAILLES — Megan and Johnny Schmitmeyer, of Versailles, have announced the birth of a daughter, Sawyer Rebecca Schmitmeyer, born Nov. 23, 2016, at 11:53 a.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

She weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her sisters, Rowan, 7, and Logan, 4, and her brother, Samuel, 6.

Her maternal grandparents are Karen and Jay Homan, of Cassella. Her paternal grandparents are Marlene and John Schmitmeyer, of Versailles.

Her great-grandparents are Anita and Lester Homan, of Cassella, and Alma Schmitmeyer, of Cranberry.

His mother is the former Megan Homan.
