Staff report

In a recent Christian Academy Schools varsity boys basketball game, senior Paul Kindig reached a personal milestone.

Kindig scored the 1,000th point of his career in an Eagles loss to Grand Lake Christian in recent action. He scored his 1,000th point on a free throw in the final period, and the game was stopped at that point for pictures and the presentation of a basketball signed by fellow members of the CAS team.

He went on to score 18 points for the Eagles.

A guard, he has played varsity basketball for four years at CAS, and was also the goalie on the varsity soccer team the past four seasons.

In addition, he competes on the archery team.

He is the son of Eric and Marsha Kindig of Sidney. An avid hunter and fisherman, he plans to study wildlife management when he enrolls at Hocking College later this year.
