Sheriff’s log

MONDAY

-1:14 p.m.: suspicious car. Deputies were dispatched to 11665 Wenger Road in Franklin Township on the report of a suspicious car parked along the road.

-11:45 a.m.: threats or harassment. Deputies were dispatched to 18133 Herring Road in Salem Township on the report of a threatening phone call.

-10:09 a.m.: vandalism. Deputies were dispatched to 505 Cross Trail in Washington Township on the report two tires on their vehicle’s were slashed the previous night.

-5:05 a.m.: investigative complaint. Deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of Thompson Schiff Road in Franklin Township on the report of a large glow coming from the area.

SUNDAY

-10:33 p.m.: threats or harassment. Deputies were dispatched to 10725 Kaser Road in Washington Township on the report of threats and harassment.

SATURDAY

-8 a.m.: theft without consent. Cody D. Voegel, 6262 Botkins Road, New Knoxville, reported the theft of his Dodge Truck, valued at $22,000. The vehicle was taken from the driveway of his residence overnight. The license plate and vehicle were entered into NCIC as stolen.

FRIDAY

-7 a.m.: criminal damaging. Melissa L. Keith, Piqua, reported her vehicle was damaged while it was in the parking lot at 3003 Cisco Road, Sidney.

SUNDAY

-11:26 p.m.: ATV complaint. Jackson Center Police and Deputies were dispatched to 13951 State Route 65 in Jackson Township for a complaint about a person on a four-wheeler.

Crashes

Deputies are investigating a hit-skip crash which was reported Saturday at 10:42 a.m.

An unknown driver left the scene after striking a phone pedestal located at the end of the driveway at 7671 Tawawa Maplewood Road. A minor amount of debris was left behind by the vehicle. The phone pedestal is owned by CenturyLink.

Fire, rescue

MONDAY

-2:25 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 14000 block of Lochard Road in Dinsmore Township.

-8:09 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Botkins Police responded to the 200 block of South Main Street in Dinsmore Township.

SUNDAY

-9:35 p.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 300 block of South Lindsey Road in Turtle Creek Township.
