Kardam, Alt wed in England

RUSSIA — Pooja Virendra Kardam, of Northampton, United Kingdom, and Dale Eugene Alt, of Russia, were married, Jan. 22, 2017, at 2 p.m., in the All Nations Church in Northampton, United Kingdom.

The bride is the daughter of Virendra and Anita Kardam, of Nagpur, India. Her grandparents are Natottam Singh and Mahadevi Kardam, of Nagpur, India.

The bridegroom is the son of Mary Lou and Norman Alt, of St. Henry. Pastor James Wachepa performed the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her friend, Rob Buerger.

Sonam Kardam, sister of the bride, and Lisa Wendt served as maids of honor.

Rob Buerger was the best man. Wes Huelsman, Justin Presar and Geoff Tasker were ushers. Gizmo, the couple’s dog, was the ring bearer.

The couple honeymooned in India and reside in Troy.

The bride graduated from Sindhu College of Science, earned a degree in hotel management from GIHMCT, in Nagpur, India, and a Master of Business Administration from Kings College of London, United Kingdom. She completed hotel management training at Hilton Garden and Great Wolf Lodge in Virginia in 2008. She is employed as a hotel manager by Park Inn by Radisson in Northampton, United Kingdom.

The bridegroom is a St. Henry High School graduate and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is employed by Honda of America in Anna as an engineer.
