VERSAILLES — “Extravagant: excessive or unrestrained.” “Extravaganza: a spectacular production.” “Eggstravaganza: the 2017 Versailles Poultry Days festival.”

The festival’s board of directors has announced that the theme for the 66th annual festival, scheduled for June 9-11, is Eggstravaganza.

Organizers expect to serve for than 25,000 chicken dinners during the event, which will also feature two parades, a Frisbee tournament, pageants, a kiddee tractor pull, rides, games, a photography show, a 5K race, vendors, cake and egg contests, a flower show, an art show and entertainment.
